| We received a surprise in the mail this weekend...a package from Asthmatic Kitty Records (Sufjan Steven's recording company). I could not imagine the joy we found in it: an album entitled Welcome to the Welcome Wagon. I'm telling you folks, if you like Sufjan, you'll love this duo! The Welcome Wagon is a pastor and his wife from NYC. Lovely folksy earthy real. The album is set to be released December 9th. You can take a sneak peak from the AKR website.

| Last night I thought was the worst American Idol night this season. Neil Diamond has mostly cheesy songs. Cook was the only one who sounded awesome last night and he pick the Diamond songs no one had ever heard of. David A. about made me barf with America. Pleeeeeeeeease, was that necessary? You can't be that desperate for votes? I've just become an un-fan! Syesha and Brooke were decent, hope they don't go home. Jason was plain boring. And Paula, where were you?
